This style of Mate Calabaza is one of the most used. It has a typical guard on its sides. Their sizes and shapes vary greatly (pear or pore type, biscuit) because they come from a climbing plant called Legendaria Vulgaris.
It is important to clean and dry them well, and cure them when using them for the first time.
